The cosmetics industry is an industrial sector in which the use of continuous inkjet encoders is very common. The electrolytic marking technology is a sub-area of the labeling technology. It´s main purpose is the affixing of relevant information on products and/or their packaging. Complete traceability of industrially-manufactured products can only be guaranteed by a reliable labeling procedure. The ink that is used during printing processes, when applying the continuous inkjet technique, must be electrically charged. The coded information, which is hidden in labels printed on industrially-manufactured products, is, in most cases, not comprehensible to the layman. Seeing that the continuous inkjet procedure relies on spraying of the ink, the print head has no contact with the printed material at any time. The continuous inkjet technology meets the specific industrial requirements with regard to an efficient and fast printing method.
